We're a traditional supper club known for our prime steaks and chops, fresh wild-caught Canadian walleye and Alaskan salmon, special wine pairings, and locally-sourced seasonal dishes.

Chef Rae came to Smokey's from Lacey, Washington, where she was chef and manager of Ricardo's Kitchen + Bar for 13 years. She earned her certificate of culinary arts from the Le Cordon Bleu school and is a certified executive chef and pastry chef. "I love Manitowish Waters. The only thing better than its natural beauty is the people who live here."

Growing up, Liz spent her summers in Northern Wisconsin, swimming, boating, fishing and hiking. Some of her fondest memories were made here. She is an ardent supporter of the community, and, in 2006, she and her husband, Dick, purchased the property that is now Smokey's. The Uihleins happily call the Northwoods their "home away from home."
